Privacy Policy

The short version

DimensionVista is a free tool site. You do not need an account, and the values you type into a converter are calculated in your browser and are not stored by us. We collect anonymous visit statistics and any email you send us.

Information we collect

• Usage data. We use a Google tag to measure which pages are visited. It records things such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type. It does not tell us who you are.
• Email you send us. If you write to contact@dimensionvista.com, we keep your address and message so we can reply and check a correction.
• Server logs. Our host records IP addresses and request details for security and troubleshooting.

Cookies

The analytics tag may set cookies to tell visits apart. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site still works without them. You can also use Google’s opt-out add-on for analytics.

How we use it

To keep the site running, fix errors, understand which pages are useful, and answer your emails. We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

Sharing

Data is shared only with service providers that run the site (hosting, email and analytics), when the law requires it, or to protect the site from abuse.

Links to other sites

Some pages link to sources such as NIST. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing contact@dimensionvista.com. We keep emails only as long as needed to handle your message.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, we update this page and its date.
