DimensionVista is a small, independent site of measurement converters and visual size guides. The idea is simple: give an exact answer first, then show the size drawn to scale next to things you already know.
Why this site exists
A number such as 15 feet or 8 mm means little until you can picture it. DimensionVista gives the exact answer first, then draws the size to scale next to objects you already know, so you can see it as well as read it.
What you will find here
- Converters with a chart, the nearest inch fraction and a printable PDF, starting with mm to inches and cm to inches.
- Pages for the sizes people look up most, such as 8 mm or 20 cm.
- Size guides for feet and meters, each drawn to scale. See the length hub for all of them.
How the numbers are checked
Every conversion comes from exact definitions such as 1 inch = 25.4 mm (NIST SP 811). We write “=” only when a value is exact and “≈” when it is rounded. The full method is on How we check.
Corrections and contact
If a number looks wrong, tell us through the contact page. We fix the page and update its date, so you can see when it was last changed.
